TROY CENTER SANITARY DISTRICT #1 – RESOLUTION NO. _2025-04
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE BORROWING OF MONEY FROM THE TOWN OF TROY TO BE USED AS A SHORT TERM LOAN TO FUND A REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Commission of the Troy Center Sanitary District #1 (District) understands the importance of remote monitoring allowing for early detection of issues, enabling timely maintenance to prevent problems; and
WHEREAS, the District plans to apply for a conventional rate case through the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to provide debt service coverage for installing a remote monitoring system; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Commission that the District borrow from a lending institution for the purpose of financing the remote monitoring system and curb stop and main valve repairs;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Commission of the Troy Center Sanitary District #1, Walworth County, Wisconsin, that the District shall borrow monies from the Town of Troy not to exceed $19,500 to be used as a short term loan to fund the remote monitoring system. The interest rate of the note will be determined by the current Board of Commissioners of Public Lands for a two-year or less term note. Interest on the note will accrue. One payment will be made for principal and accrued interest at the time of substitute financing.
