The Troy Center Sanitary District #1 has adopted the following resolution at a special meeting of the Commission on October 23, 2025.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED FISCAL 2026 ANNUAL BUDGET AND TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for fiscal year 2026 was discussed at the meeting of the Troy Center Sanitary District #1 held on October 8, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the budget was duly published as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the proposals to amend the budget have been discussed and acted upon;
NOW THEREFORE, be it it resolved as follows:
- The proposed budget, as published, is hereby approved.
- A fire protection fee and tax levy in the amount of $15,397 shall be levied upon all residential properties within the Troy Center Sanitary District #1 as well any property not within the boundaries of the District that is connected to the District’s water services.
- The Administrator of the District shall comply with the requirements of the state law with respect to certifying tax levy and any special charges and the assessed value of all of the properties within the District, as established by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, and shall forward the same on a timely basis to the Town of Troy Treasurer.
