DRINKING WATER WARNING
Town of Troy Sanitary District #1 has had the system fall below the acceptable pressure level. (water main break)
ALL RESIDENTS
A water main break was found on the morning of February 27, 2023. To repair the system the water needed to be turned off and thus the minimum acceptable pressure of the system was exceeded.
What should I do?
Follow the advice of the attached flyer.
What happened?
A break occurred in the water main pipe across from N8673 County Road N. The repair was made by Odling Construction on the morning of the 27th and water pressure was back up to acceptable levels before noon.
What is being done?
Water will be chlorinated and samples taken from the system to verify that the system does not have a bacteria issue. When those samples confirm that there is no issue the boil advisory will be lifted.
