I would like to thank everyone who volunteered to work the General Election as well as the previous 2020 Elections. You should all be commended for a job well done. For the Presidential Election, the Town processed 942 absentee ballots, 698 voted in person and 76 people registered on Election Day. Total ballots cast was 1640 at the close of the Election night.
So, Thank you-Chris, Mary K, Jane, Rick, Judy, Carol, Ellen, Stacy, Sean, Susan, Jim, Jenna, Daniel, Karen, Penelope, Lisa, Beverly, Rob, Don, Sarah, Darrel, Trudy, Mary B, Tricia, and Amy. Thank You to the Troy Center Fire Department for the use of the Fire Department, the space was perfect for holding a General Election during a pandemic. DPW Staff Jamie and Nick and Firemen John, Don, Tim and Daniel for helping with set up and take down and putting up with my ever-changing mind. Thank you to Chairman Kendall for the use of a wheelchair. Thank you to Supervisor Lorden and Supervisor Tober for chasing down supplies or anything I needed. Lastly, Thank You to all of you who came out to vote!
