With the November 6, 2018 General Election just around the corner, it’s important to be advised of some important dates. Early in person absentee voting begins October 15, 2018. The office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m. The Friday before the General Election, November 2, 2018 the office will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for in person absentee voting. This is the last day to vote in person absentee or register to vote.
If you are a new resident to the Town of Troy or need to update your registration with a new address or name change, we encourage you to do so before the General Election. There are several ways to register to vote. Registering online with myvote.wi.gov, is highly recommended. The site will walk you through the process and is very user friendly. You can also contact the office for a form or stop by to register in person. The last day to register online or by mail is October 17, 2018. After this date, elector’s must register in person in the office or at the polling place on Election day.
