Polls will be open at the Town of Troy Town Hall N8807 Briggs St. from 7 AM to 8 PM.

Voting an absentee ballot in person.  You may also request and vote an absentee ballot in the clerk’s office (N8870 Briggs Street, East Troy WI 53120) during the specified hours or by appointment.

The FIRST DAY to vote an absentee ballot in the clerk’s office is October 22, 2024 by order of the latest court ruling.  The LAST DAY to vote an absentee ballot in the Clerk’s office is Friday, November 1, 2024.  No in-person absentee voting may occur on the day before the election.

In-Person Absentee Procedure

  1. You are welcome to use your own blue or black ballpoint pen to fill out your absentee envelope.
  2. The absentee clerk will need to check your voter ID.
  3. After reviewing your ballot, you will fold it and seal it in the absentee envelope.
  4. Verify your information on the absentee certificate envelope.
  5. You will sign your envelope in the presence of the absentee clerk. The absentee clerk will sign and print as your witness.
  6. Your absentee ballot will remain sealed in its envelope and secured in the Clerk’s Office until it is delivered to your polling place to be processed on Election Day.
  7. On Election Day, the poll workers at your polling place will check your envelope into the poll book and will feed your ballot into the tabulator to be counted.

The municipal clerk will deliver voted ballots returned on or before Election Day to the proper polling place or counting location before the polls close on November 5, 2024.  Any ballots received after the polls close on Election Day will not be counted.
